The past couple of years and  celebrating the 4th of July this past weekend made me really reflect on  this and made me think alot. How so many people today are trying to give up on the 2nd amendment. To bring in Gun Reform, and to take away the right to bear arms.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I find so many people that seem to be so afraid of guns because the kill people. Yet they seem to forget that those who are out there killing people do not care how many laws you make about it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They still have full capabilities and resources to get and find as many weapons as they want for whatever cause they want to use them for. It's no different than getting dope on the street corner. It everywhere.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The problem is those making these stupid laws are only taking the Right for those who are willing to do everything legally. To never be able to protect themselves from these madmen, because if they do they would be breaking the law. Yet, those who are doing it illegally get away with everything they do. Why? Because the Legal Gun owner broke the law and the Madman cannot be found. Anyone ever heard of common sense?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The forefathers of this country knew all about this. Why? Because they all got to see what happens first hand in the countries they came from. The Bill of rights in our Constitution was put there on purpose for us to pay attention to. The date was chosen because the Constitution was approved at the original Constitutional Convention on Sept. 17, 1787.&lt;br /&gt;The act that created Constitution Day mandates that all publicly-funded educational institutions provide educational programming on the history of the American Constitution on that day. Let’s see how well the schools have done their job.&lt;br /&gt;Ask a recent high school or college graduate to take the following brief quiz. I’ll be interested to hear how many of the 20 questions he or she answers correctly.&lt;br /&gt;And be sure to take the quiz yourself. Even if you score 100 percent, it’s good to be reminded of some of the fundamental principles upon which our country was founded. In another word say that is your interpretation. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sorry to burst some bubbles here, but the Constitution is NOT left up to interpretations. It was written plainly for all to understand. With Big Governments taking away our rights and our freedoms. I seriously feel that more people need to learn this stuff. Let alone have the freedom to share the gospel on Radio, TV, Concerts among so many others. display: block;" height="319" width="300"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span class="zemanta-img-attribution"&gt;Image via &lt;a href="http://commons.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Bill_of_Rights_Pg1of1_AC.jpg"&gt;Wikipedia&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;The Right to Bear Arms. &lt;a class="zem_slink freebase/en/second_amendment_to_the_united_states_constitution" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution" title="Second Amendment to the United States Constitution" rel="wikipedia"&gt;The Second Amendment&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Amendment II&lt;br /&gt;A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Probably one of the most controversial Amendments in the &lt;a class="zem_slink freebase/en/united_states_constitution" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Constitution" title="United States Constitution" rel="wikipedia"&gt;Constitution&lt;/a&gt; yet one of the most important one to ever reach any document for an entire country to live by. This is what determines our Freedom here in the &lt;a class="zem_slink freebase/en/united_states" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667&amp;amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;amp;q=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667%20%28United%20States%29&amp;amp;t=h" title="United States" rel="geolocation"&gt;United States of America&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know I have talked to many people from all over this wonderful Country, some with very good arguments on why we should not &lt;a class="zem_slink freebase/en/right_to_bear_arms" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_to_keep_and_bear_arms" title="Right to keep and bear arms" rel="wikipedia"&gt;bear arms&lt;/a&gt;. Others that love this Right. I want to take a little time here to try to explain this a little more in depth so that some might understand why this is so important. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I understand the reason why so many are scared of guns but we also need to understand it's not the guns that kill its the people behind them. As we go throughout history which is very important to look back to for this very simple reason. A population without weapons to protect themselves, even entire Nations can and will be destroyed and conquered if the people have no way of defending themselves. Going back to several cases. Throughout all of History, there are higher Governments and rulers that love nothing but power, control, to be Rich and to get the people poor. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One example of this is when Spain invaded what we know of today as Mexico, The Aztecs and the Incas. Both very wealthy and Peaceful Empire with enough people to defend it on there own. Up until the Spanish came to their shores with guns and horses that is. See the Aztecs never saw these kinds of weapons, Chest plates of Iron, Loud canons, rifles along with fast moving animals they had never seen. All these people lived in peace. The only thing they could fight back with was spears, rocks and arrows. Though they had over powered the Spanish in numbers they were no match for the few behind the guns. Leaving them to not only loose their land and Empire but they all became slaves to the Spanish and up until they died working in the fields from over exhaustion and lack of food. They no longer had homes let alone families or a way of life. All because the ones invading had guns and they didn't. This is just one example.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This has happened world wide for thousands of years. One has better weapons and conquers the other. Our forefathers who wrote the Constitution knew this. Remember, They actually lived under Governments like this dominating anyone and everyone the possible could. Just to be the Higher Power. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is why ALL of our ancestors left, any way they could to come to the land of the free, America the home of the Brave, The land of opportunity, and the Right to be able to protect their families and to be able to Worship &lt;a class="zem_slink freebase/en/god" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God" title="God" rel="wikipedia"&gt;God&lt;/a&gt; Freely, Anywhere without being persecuted for it. Those who wrote the Constitution knew History, they also knew that in order for We The People to keep such a great Country of freedom, that there would be times when Governments and other Countries may take advantage of the people and to try to come and conquer over them by any means just to have complete and total control over those who live here. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I here this same saying over and over. Why can't we all just get along? Or this one. God says thou shalt not kill. Hmmmm? See I personally have many problems with these sayings. For one, We can't get a long because most of these other countries still have the same exact rules and regulations and are out to conquer the world. A New World Government. With the whole idea that full control of the people on planet &lt;a class="zem_slink freebase/en/earth" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth" title="Earth" rel="wikipedia"&gt;Earth&lt;/a&gt; will be the ultimate victory. Make the people poor. Spread the wealth so to speak take from those who have something and make them the same as the Starving African or the bum laying in the streets. Think this is impossible? Check out the News today. Let alone study up just a little bit on History. You just might be surprised on how easy this can and will be accomplished if the people have now way to protect themselves. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thou shalt not Kill, If anyone actually reads the Bible and study the words it is actually Thou shall not Murder. The Right to bare Arms does not mean to just go around murdering people. It gives us the right to protect ourselves and our families lives. Even God throughout the entire Bible tells of stories upon stories of people having to protect themselves from evil doers throughout all of History. Why? cause Satan hates us all and wants us all dead. Believe it or not that is his plan. I will talk more on this subject later. I can just hope and pray the Church will wake up to this fact. &lt;b&gt;Again The Right to Bear Arms does not mean to go out murdering people. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With Governments power, money and eagerness for more control. To become the best in the World, Also if not kept in line from the people, can turn out to be very disastrous not just for one nation but the entire world. We all saw what Hitler did. This is also a result of gun being taken from the public. This is why we went to War to help stop them. Is war good? No, not by any means. But, just as the Bible says, there is a time for peace, and there is a time for war. God gave us a great Nation to live in. Free, and full of life to worship him freely, unlike most countries on the planet. Murdered just because the love &lt;a class="zem_slink freebase/en/jesus" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus" title="Jesus" rel="wikipedia"&gt;Jesus Christ&lt;/a&gt;. Imagine this in the land of the Free? It's just a few more laws away my friends.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't think most realize that we would by no means have or live in this great country if is wasn't for those who fought and died for us as all. This includes Jesus Christ. All those soldiers who had went out to war and fought so hard to keep the Freedom we have here at home. This should mean something for every American who lives and works and enjoys the lifestyles we all share here on this soil. Our freedom in America is what so many other Countries look up to. If it wasn't for our service in the Military and all those Men and Women who risk their lives everyday for not only us but, for the freedom of others in distant lands, we would by no means have our lifestyles here in America today. Yes we would all be slaves to the Governments who work so hard to take this great land from us. I try my best to go out an shake every officer in the Military's hands and tell them thank you. Christian or not. They put their lives on the line for me and you. We should all take the time to respect that. No matter what. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can only hope that people might understand my point. May even make a few mad. But, know this. Take away the Right to Bear Arms? Get ready to become a slave with no rights at all. Many have fought and died for this Right and our freedom to live in such a great and awesome Country. I have a hard time believing that so many will just lay down ready to lose this wonderful and strong Nation under God. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just want to add a couple more the amendments here to help get a better Understanding for the reasoning of the 2nd Amendment.   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Know your Rights!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Amendment I&lt;br /&gt;Congress shall make no &lt;a class="zem_slink freebase/guid/9202a8c04000641f8000000000023947" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law" title="Law" rel="wikipedia"&gt;law&lt;/a&gt; Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;hr size="1" noshade="noshade"&gt;&lt;a href="http://draft.blogger.com/post-edit.g?blogID=8786835109193108138&amp;amp;postID=6515122111529402396" name="26"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;AMENDMENT XXVI &lt;i&gt;Passed by Congress March 23, 1971. But     when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the     same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute     Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such     Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. —     Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is     now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former     Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great     Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all     having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny     over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid     world.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most     wholesome and necessary for the public good.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of     immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their     operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended,     he has utterly neglected to attend to them.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has refused to pass other Laws for the     accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people     would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a     right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has called together legislative bodies at     places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of     their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into     compliance with his measures.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly,     for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the     people.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has refused for a long time, after such     dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative     Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at     large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time     exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions     within.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has endeavoured to prevent the population of     these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for     Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage     their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new     Appropriations of Lands.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by     refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for     the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their     salaries.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and     sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out     their substance.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing     Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has affected to render the Military independent     of and superior to the Civil Power.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has combined with others to subject us to a     jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our     laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For quartering large bodies of armed troops among     us:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For protecting them, by a mock Trial from     punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the     Inhabitants of these States:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the     world:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of     Trial by Jury:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for     pretended offences:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For abolishing the free System of English Laws in     a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary     government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once     an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule     into these Colonies&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most     valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of our     Governments:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring     themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases     whatsoever.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us     out of his Protection and waging War against us.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts,     burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He is at this time transporting large Armies of     foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and     tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty &amp;amp; Perfidy     scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy     the Head of a civilized nation.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt; He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken     Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to     become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall     themselves by their Hands.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us,     and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers,     the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an     undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;In every stage of these Oppressions We have     Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated     Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and     settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and     magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common     kindred. to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably     interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been     deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must,     therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our     Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies     in War, in Peace Friends.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;We, therefore, the Representatives of the United     States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the     Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do,     in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies,     solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of     Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are     Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all     political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is     and ought to be totally dissolved;
